Vice President Pence and Secretary of State Pompeo traveled to Ankara to reach a deal with Turkey's President Erdogan that would stabilize northeastern Syria. What they produced - and President Trump celebrated - was a five-day pause in the Turkish offensive. In doing so, the U.S. agreed to implement Erdogan's plan on his behalf. Matthew RJ Brodsky joins Michelle Makori on i24News "ClearCut+" where he explains the U.S. capitulated to Erdogan's demands. Moreover, by assisting the Kurds in moving out of their own land to make way for the refugees Turkey plans to resettle there, America will be complicit in the ethnic cleansing of its ally. To claim this shame as a victory requires the suspension of reality.
